Research Biologists in our Necropsy Department are responsible for conducting all teratology and pathology laboratory phases of assigned reproduction and toxicity studies.
Responsibilities Include:
- various dissection techniques
- gross examinations
- fetal external, visceral, and skeletal evaluations
- perfusions and spermatogenesis evaluations
- nerve dissections
- organ accountability, bone marrow smears and organ weights
- laparohysterectomies/uterine exams
Requirements:
A BS/AS in Biology, Animal Sciences or a related field is required, as well as a willingness to learn and an interest in the field of research. Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
