Senior HR Generalist - Compensation

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Director of Human Resources, the Senior HR Generalist will manage the compensation function for the company. The position is an integral member of the Global Human Resources team and in addition to compensation, this position will be active in strategy development, talent management, retention and day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will have not only an expertise in compensation but a broad analytical mind and ability and interest in multiple facets of HR. This position has the potential to advance into a global role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for defining and implementing the global compensation philosophy and strategy
  • Directly responsible for all compensation programs, policies and procedures
  • Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation programs
  • Managers executive, sales and staff variable compensation programs
  • Develops strategies to reward employees for performance
  • Assists in the development of banding structure and career pathways to provide employees opportunities to grow with the company
  • Provide consulting services by interacting regularly with all levels
  • Partner with Finance on proposed programs to evaluate financial impact and return
  • Support pay program integration with recently acquired businesses
  • Insure and lead organization in compliance of FLSA. Design and deliver training as needed

Educational/Technical Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and PHR/SPHR a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources with at least 3 years of compensation experience.
  • Proven ability to develop performance based compensation strategies
  • Exceptional knowledge of excel
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to lead multiple projects, manage timelines and define deliverables
